Machine Operator I***This position is for the 2nd and 3rd shifts***

 

Sets up and maintains equipment as required to perform production operation according operation work instructions;

Required to be certified to perform three or more of the following  operations; Chamfer, Crack, Wirebrush, Ram EDM, Tumble Clean, Score, Saw, Magnetic Inspection;

Reviews customer drawings, special manufacturing instructions called out on manufacturing router prior to machining parts;

Maintains acceptable quality & productivity, as established by work center goal rates and quality standards;

Performs in-process inspection as identified in procedure using measuring tools – equipment as required;

Accurate recording of data into computer software and on manufacturing router;

Recognizes and solves minor problems with equipment or production parts;

Reports any manufacturing problems to department leader or manager;

Reports losses of more that 5% to leader

Follows production schedule/work queue; 

Formally requests maintenance on major items Obeys all safety regulations and reports violations;Keeps work area clean and order.  Performs other duties assigned by department leader or manager;
