Machine Tool Sales Engineer

Job Purpose:

The Sale and Post Sale Support of manufacturing equipment (Machine Tools) to a varied customer base within the assigned sales territory.

Duties:

* Provide pre and post-sale technical support by delivering product presentations and demonstrations based upon known or percieved customer requirements,  evaluating customer readiness; identifying solutions for customer application.

* Contributes to sales team effort by delivering technical presentations and demonstrations; supporting proof-of-concept efforts; accomplishing related results as needed.

* Identifies solution to customer application by researching available technology.

* Generate, distribute, and discribe accurate quotations, based upon customer requirements and available technology. 

* Identifies sales requirements by establishing personal rapport with persons in the position to understand service requirements.

* Maintains quality support by following organization standards.

* Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

* Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
