Machining and CMM Operators

CNC Machinists/Operators  Our CNC Machinists and Operators manufacture quartz finished goods and components using primarily CNC machine tools and equipment.  Also inspect machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.  Position requires a minimum of 2 years CNC operation including at least one-year set-up experience.  High School diploma or equivalent is required.  In addition, some college level mathematics or machine shop math is strongly preferred.

 

Manufacturing Specialist  Perform complex machine operations to manufacture production and prototype quartz components to precise dimensions.  Inspects machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.  Design and construct temporary tools and fixtures needed to produce first article parts.  We require a High School diploma or equivalent plus college coursework in mathematics or machine shop math and at least 7 years CNC machining experience, a solid working knowledge of advanced mathematics, ability to read and interpret production blue prints, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) proficiency.

 



Inspector (CMM Operator)  Work as part of the Quality Control Department to determine product acceptance using quality inspection methodology. Operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to measure incoming and outgoing product and review inspection results to make determination of acceptance. Perform visual inspection per internal or customer quality standards and document inspection results. Interest in or ability to program CMM preferred.  Requires High School diploma or equivalent with at least three years experience in CMM/CNC operation in an inspection or quality control environment and proficiency in the application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT). ASQ Certified Mechanical Inspector preferred.
