Machinist - Fab Operator

TTM San Diego has an opening for a Fabrication Machinist.

 

 

Software Knowledge: Surf CAM, Must know how to program using Surf CAM. 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Determine proper dimensions from blueprints including non-standard interpretations. Perform set-ups in the operation of CNC router including selection, inspection, and installation of routing bits, templates and alignment pins. Monitor fabrication process for quality and make necessary adjustments to equipment to attain proper tolerances and /or dimensions in accordance with specifications. Complete required documentation. Follow safety regulations, policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work area.

 

Required skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Must have thorough knowledge of machinery (including Excellon, bevel, counter bore), equipment and techniques.  Ability to read blueprints and travelers. Ability to operate and program Fadal machine. Possess good reading, writing and mathematical skills. Ability to interface with co-workers and supervisors. Willingness to learn new processes and procedures. Must be a team player with strong analytical and organizational skills. Must be detail oriented and readily accept directions and additional responsibilities.

 

Educations and Experience: Requires a high school education or equivalent, and at least one-year experience and Fabrication including Excellon equipment.
