Melampy Manufacturing is looking for motivated, experienced employees to support its growing operation in Gibsonia, PA. Hours are Monday thru Thursday, 6:00am to 4:00pm. Overtime is available. Hourly rate is $15-$20 based on experience. Positions are Full-time, permanent positions.

 

Maintenance

 

Responsibilities include assisting with all phases of general plant maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, as well as general machining experience.

 

Machining

 

Responsibilities include maintaining all production tooling-- cleaning, repairing, and trouble-shooting. Requires the ability to read and create drawings, efficiently use tool room equipment such as vertical mill, surface grinder, and lathe. CNC operating and programming or tool and die experience a plus.

Melampy Manufacturing is a light manufacturing and heat-treating company located in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. Using high carbon, alloy, and stainless steel, Melampy produces a wide variety of freight car components and ships them all over the world. Processing capabilities include shearing, blanking, hot and cold forming and presswork, welding, and water/polymer quenching and tempering.
