Maintenance Mechanic, Ice Cream - Alta Dena

Perform preventative maintenance tasks Perform emergency repairs in breakdown situations Troubleshoot, maintain and make repairs necessary for safe and efficient operation of the plant during assigned shift including, but not limited to, PLCs, AC drives, soft starts, motors, circuits and wiring Inform maintenance manager of  equipment problems Maintain accurate and complete records Perform related duties as required 2nd shift: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pmDays off: Friday and SaturdayAny combination of experience and education that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities, such as: Working knowledge of 480 volt three-phase motors and controls, programmable logic controls (i.e. Allen Bradley SLC 100, SLC 500, Micrologic 1000 and RSLogix 5000, Allen Bradley frequency drives including PowerFlex, Bulletin 1336, and conduit bending required for repairs and small installations) Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in team environment with minimum supervision High School diploma Technical Training for Maintenance Mechanic 3-5 years experience in manufacturing or equal experience in a related position. Physical requirements include: ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time, ability to withstand temperature from -45 degrees to 120 degrees F, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, ability to climb, stoop and pull.
