SUMMARY

 

Responsible for:

· Coordinating work order activities with maintenance leads engaged in the maintenance, installing, repairing, and fabrication of facility machinery and equipment utilizing computer maintenance management software (MP2).

· Schedule all daily maintenance jobs

· Maintain department inventory levels using daily and monthly inventory status reports from MP2.

· Coordinating inventory assuring that mechanical and electrical equipment is maintained in good operating condition to minimize down time.

· Administrative responsibility for maintaining a high degree of accuracy in MP2; by performing the following duties.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

· Prepare daily and monthly maintenance inventory, labor, repairs and maintenance reports for distribution to department supervisor. 

· Coordinate daily and monthly documentation of maintenance work orders and inventory for distribution to maintenance team for equipment repairs.

· Coordinate with maintenance buyer for requisitions of parts for completing work orders. 

· Work with stock room to pre-determined spares parts from pick lists for PMs and CMs.

· Works with leads to perform labor studies of maintenance activities to estimate labor requirements needed for completion of job assignments.

· Ensures that all company policies, procedures and safety regulations are followed during completion of all work orders (PMs, CMs & ERs).

· Establishes and adjusts backlog, work orders and work procedures to coordinate with production schedules.

· Recommends measures to improve maintenance methods, equipment performance while not jeopardizing quality of product.

· Checks daily maintenance labor time and material usage in MP2 software.

· Confers with other department supervisors to coordinate and schedule activities of individual departments and/or equipment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

4+ years relevant experience required
High school graduate or equivalent

 

Computer skills:  Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

CMMS Training (MP2 preferred)

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

 

English – Oral and written

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

 

Basic Algebra or equivalent

 

REASONING ABILITY

 

Capable of analyzing equipment or inventory issues and offer alternative solutions.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

 

Capable of receiving training and certificates for: Fork Truck Drivers licenses, CPR and First Aid, Electrical Safety Basics and Lock-out Tag-out
