Maintenance Reliability Engineer

My client produces specialty chemicals and ingredients vital in the manufacture of a large variety of products in our modern way of life.  This is a unique organization of over 1000 people in multiple facilities working in an innovative, team-based structure that encourages and rewards teamwork, cooperation, quality control and individual participation in improving the way things are done. This world class organization is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join its Southern Tennessee operation. This is a full-time permanent position with a strong compensation package and excellent benefits.  Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. Responsibilities Manage operational maintenance effort. Improve OOE, quality and process efficiencies. Develop Reliability-Centered maintenance processes. Serve as subject matter expert for predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, infrared thermography, NDT, et. al.). Work with Site Engineering on PSM implementation (i.e., work practices, design/repair standards, change management, etc.). Perform FMEA and RCFA to ensure equipment maintenance certainty. Drive improvement initiatives and change in the Maintenance organization. Participate in Capital equipment planning and budgeting projects. Enhance reliability reviews. Identify development opportunities (personally and organizationally) within department.Requirements 5+ years Maintenance/Engineering experience (Chemical manufacturing environment preferred). Deep analytical and engineering troubleshooting skill. Experienced in NDT, OEE, Thermography and Vibration Analysis. Proactive problem-solving approach with a bias for action. Ability to organize and prioritize. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Education BS degree in Mechanical Engineering (strongly preferred).
