2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor

We are the leading supplier of sustenance food and beverage products for austere environments with over $200 million in sales annually. We are looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor.

 

LOCATION

This position is located at our Blue Ash assembly facility.

 

REPORTING STRUCTURE

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager.

 

SUMMARY

As 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee all maintenance and sanitation activities related to the Company owned and occupied facilities.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but management may ad other duties at its discretion.

 Supervise assigned mechanics to perform below mentioned activities.Train and oversee mechanics to ensure that proper techniques are being utilized when repair or preventive maintenance activities are being performed.Utilize a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to develop Preventive Maintenance schedules and instructions to maximize equipment uptime.Perform analysis of equipment downtime to further develop and recommend Predictive Maintenance activities. Coordinate all planned downtime activities with production to maximize equipment availability.May perform the duties of personnel supervised.Confer with Maintenance Manager to resolve maintenance problems and recommends measures to improve operations or machine performance.Other duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High School diploma, plus 2 years trade/technical school mechanic program or comparable. Must have at least 3 years experience as a maintenance supervisor; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong analytical skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Effective interpersonal and influential management skills in interacting with cross-functional teams (Warehousing, Manufacturing, QA, QC, Maintenance, etc.)Ability to develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize performance.Practical problem-solving skills, training and supervisory techniques are essential.
