Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

 

Reports To:  Maintenance Lead Person

 

Specific Duties:

 

1.  Maintenance Machines and all auxiliary equipment as scheduled.

 

2.  Troubleshoot all machine-related problems.

 

3.  Basic mold repair (ex.  Cutting & replacement of ejector pins; slide maintenance; light polishing)

 

4.  Assist in modifications to molding machines and auxiliary equipment. (Ex. Adding ejector retract switches, air blow, safety gates, etc.)

 

5.  Building Maintenance as required.

 

6. Help maintain inventory of all needed maintenance supplies and keep track of spare stock of maintenance items.

 

7.  Help maintain all maintenance file (Ex. Work orders, PM tracking, equipment histories, etc.)

 

Requirements & Qualifications

 

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 1 - 2 yrs. Molding experience preferred.

• Prior maintenance experience preferred.

• Knowledge in mold structure and maintenance of molds.

• Demonstrable mechanical aptitude

• Capable of completing projects with limited supervision
