Learn more about ADC at www.adc.com. JOB DESCRIPTION:  We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities located in Lexington, SC.  The Maintenance Technician will assist in the development and implementation of programs and initiatives to assure plant compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations and best industry practices. Responsible for repair and maintenance of plant and process equipment. The Maintenance Technician troubleshoots problems with manufacturing equipment and provides facility maintenance as needed. A regular pert of this position's duties is receiving incoming materials. Responsibilities will include the following:  Support manufacturing by performing preventative maintenance and repair or production equipment. Works with operations to schedule equipment down time. Maintains the maintenance management system to ensure that all scheduled maintenance is completed on time in compliance with SOP's. Completes all PM work orders. Performs daily checks on equipment and utilities and does trouble shooting, repair, and maintenance of in-process equipment as needed. Handles all facilities work requests. Receives incoming material and enters the information into SAP. Write, review and revise standard operating procedures relative to facilities plant and process equipment and systems. Assists the manufacturing  operation in problem solving manufacturing equipment and systems issues. Trains others as needed. Misc.other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:  A High School Diploma. Four years experience in facilities and equipment maintenance directly related to the current operation. Some working knowledge of injection molding (PVC thermal plactics) process and equipment is highly desirable.  Good Problem-solving and negotiating skills required. Ability to be on call. An understanding of application of quality systems. Knowledge of SAP or ability to quickly learn SAP. Enthusiasm for teaming with Engineering and Operations.
