Maintenance Technician - off shift

Curtiss-Wright Flow Control has been experiencing dramatic growth and profitability.  We have an immediate need for an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician for our 2nd and 3rd shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 Plant MaintenanceFabricate, erect, repair, and install shelving, racks, tables, guards, and storage equipment.Install and maintain piping (including air, water, and coolant/oil).Perform work necessary to keep power lift/moving trucks in good operating order.Maintain and repair building and grounds including: painting, floor repair, windows and doors.Machine MaintenanceDiagnose machine faults including:  mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC controls.Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery of complicated design.Working with blueprints, sketches, machine manuals or instructions to complete tasks.Electrical MaintenanceRepair, install, and relocate plant lighting.Install and wire electrical service to machinery, lighting, and other equipment.Diagnose faults in primary and secondary electrical circuits, electrical controls, power units, and make necessary repairs, replacements and adjustments.  (Low voltage DC to 440VAC 3-Phase).GeneralMaintaining an orderly work area and clean environment.Adhering to and promoting plant safety rules.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 High School graduate or GED.Position requires a minimum of 4 years plant, electrical, and machine maintenance experience.  (Experience with metal working machinery is a plus).Able to work independently on an off shift.Able to read and analyze blueprints (electrical/mechanical), and machine manuals.PC skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office products is a PlusLift Truck certification.Able to use welding equipment (TIG/MIG/GAS) is a PLUS.Knowledge of NEC-National Electrical Code is a PLUS.Knowledge of OSHA requirements in a manufacturing environment is a PLUSUse of precision measurement equipment and shop mathematics.Able to be “on-call” for emergencies on another shift when necessary.
