Manager, Brand - Hips

Principal Job Functions:Identifies market trends, issues, and competitive environment and forms strategic plans for product brand. Leads the effort to initiate new product strategies in the form of supporting existing brands and creating new products. Evaluates the needs of product marketing and sales personnel on global basis and initiates strategies that meet regional and worldwide requirements.Leads the marketing development effort to bring new products from concept through commercialization including market exit. Champions this effort across multiple internal and external groups such as design, packaging and labeling, regulatory claims, surgical technique generation, advertising, sales force education, operations planning, etc.Maintains high level of product category knowledge through staying current in published information, regional market contacts, surgeon interaction, and industry educational meetings.Qualifications:· Candidates should have a B.S. degree or equivalent experience, preferably including formal studies in business, with 3-5 years product management experience or sales experience in healthcare.· An MBA or work on an MBA is preferred. · International experience preferred.· Must have computer skills and be proficient with commonly used software.· Candidate must have proven excellent oral and written communication skills and must excel at making business presentations.· Must have good analytical skills.· Should have a general knowledge of human anatomy· Travel requirements will be 20-40 percent.Education: BachelorsJob Level: 3 - 5 yearsPercent Travel: 31-40%
