Manager, Dental Practice and Lab Programs
Job Summary Responsible for the development of global practice building and laboratory marketing programs. Coordinates the development of sales objectives, strategies, advertising, and promotions to ensure the execution of these programs. Gathers new programmatic ideas and evaluates their potential and their practicality.General Functions 1. Develop and execute effective new program development strategies and introductions. Evaluate ideas and suggestions for new programs, making recommendations and managing field-testing of new program concepts to determine customer acceptance. 2. Develop and execute effective marketing strategies, which promote existing programs and ensure successful launches of new programs (i.e., pricing, packaging, marketing support literature). 3. Execute successful launch of programs on a global scale, including internal and external stakeholder training, material preparation, facilitating translations, metric tracking, ongoing guidance and support. 4. Monitor current status of program membership, sales, and availability, including management of all support materials. 5. Maximize visibility and incorporation of all products into programs where appropriate for each market segment. 6. Manage continual new and current program viability analyses. Present conclusions and recommendations to management. Manage life span of existing programs. Ongoing implementation, analysis, and ROI. 7. Develop, implement and analyze market research projects and trends for assigned programs. Investigate market and educational opportunities, effect on market for present programs, and recommend exploitation of economically attractive programs. 8. Responsible for development of annual and ongoing marketing plans for assigned programs. 9. Maintain proficient in the knowledge of current/potential industry educational directions and needs, incorporating effective curricula where necessary within programs. 10. Work with Marketing Communications to prepare collateral material, advertising, direct mail, media, and marketing support literature. 11. Review complaints and suggestions relative to assigned programs. Make recommendations as appropriate. 12. Oversee all field force, international subsidiary/distributor, customer service, inside sales clinical champion communication efforts. Respond to and solicit input, and keep informed of their needs. Ensure that these groups are notified of all major program activity, new programs, competitive updates, etc. 13. Manage, develop and ensure proper training of new/current clinical champions as it relates to programs. Provide constructive feedback to ensure a high-level programs speaker roster. 14. Manage budget subsections of Professional Programs budget related to assigned dental practice and laboratory programs. 15. Supervise laboratory lead position. Education Requirements B.S./B.A. in marketing, business, education, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience, and five years of marketing programs or education experience in a medical and/or healthcare manufacturing environment. Field sales experience and MBA desirable.Skill Requirements 1. Outstanding organizational and planning abilities. 2. Meticulous attention to detail. 3.
