Coordinate development and rollout of BE guidelines and methodology for Product Cost Comparison and Analysis, including product transitions, footprint changes, make vs. buy decisions, VA/VE proposals, landed cost comparisons, and acquisition/integration evaluations. Ensure guidelines/methodology foster a global perspective (rather than just a regional or business unit view). Drive greater global consistency and transparency in standard cost and product cost policies, practices and definitions. Support development of clear and accurate global manufacturing and BBP metrics for BE and Corporate reporting. Develop and implement automated methods to gather data and facilitate monthly reporting. Review metrics to identify issues and trends. Identify key issues and support implementation of best practices to improve annual BE business planning process. Serve as the key BE FP&A point of contact with the Manufacturing & Technology Finance team. In coordination with Supply Chain (Purchasing), verify savings for key Supply Chain initiatives, including cross-business unit and indirect material projects. Handle special projects and analysis, as requested.REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting and or Certified Public Accountancy. Broad background in all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including a minimum ten years accounting related experience and six years of financial planning and analysis. Previous strong financial experience in Manufacturing Industry as well as multinational Fortune 500 Company preferred. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with strong problem solving abilities. Must have the ability to work and be effective in a team/matrix environment. Familiarity with IT systems as they relate to financial functions and operational areas. Hyperion, SAP and Oracle systems experience preferred. Individual PC skills, particularly with spreadsheet programs, are a must.
