Essential Duties / Responsibilities: Execute professional HR objectives, practices and policies to meet business needs. Leads and guides the process of change. Manages the hiring process including creation of job descriptions, requisitions, recruiting, behavioral interviewing, and selection of candidates. Encourages workforce diversity & establishes professional relationships with institutions of higher learning. Ensure that candidate backgrounds, education, and references are verified before hiring decisions are taken. Conducts new employee orientation. Conducts exit interview and monitors all activities related with departing employees. Analyzes and provides oversight of the management employees on leave, vacation scheduling (float), productivity per employee and man-hours worked and A & T. Manages general services personnel as needed. Oversight responsibility for compliance to company rules & policies and government regulations; labor relations; and employee development. Establishes metrics to measure the department’s contributions to the bottom line. Supervises H R Coordinators, Analysts and Assistants as needed. Investigates employee complaints and allegations of policy and rule violations. Administrates hourly employee training programs and support for health and safety initiatives. Manages local compensation plan(s) and support for annual reviews and merit increases. Supplies local management of all employee reward and incentive plans Manage the local management trainees daily schedules Promotes positive morale. Coordinate local employee communication and activities. Manages personnel records. Able to navigate the HRIS and payroll system. Performs all duties assigned by management. Executes Job Market Intelligence initiatives. Participates in budgeting and business development.  2-3 years of Human Resources management experience Strong communication skills written and verbal including presentations before large groups Proficient with a personal computer – word, excel and power-point Bachelor of Science or equivalent from an accredited university Deep knowledge of Human Resources Generalist function Understands & applies principles of management Understands the company’s business strategy and objectives Analytical thinking – problem solver that seeks best solution(s) Team Player – works well with others and is capable of collaborating across regions & functions Ethical and high compliance to institutional policies Communicates effectively Ability to travel overnight and on weekends by all means of public transportation. Ability to work all hours including nights and weekends. A valid driver license. Ability to physically perform the essential job functions for the position.
