Manager, Integrated Marketing Communications

Performance Standards:

 

· Interactive Marcom - Drive best practice use of the interactive environment including web and permission-based marketing

· Marcom Literature - Management of development and agency resources, print and fulfillment and progressive programs that streamline literature costs

· Tradeshows – Ability to manage organization, planning and facilitation with colleagues

· Trade PR –Understanding and experience with press releases, customer events, managing agency resources

· Sales Support – Ability to bring new ideas to Flowserve relating to best support of sales, lead processing and tracking and processes that simplify Sales’ access to critical information

· Advertising – Ability to manage resources and initial conceptual input for successful advertising as needed

· Customer Relationship Marketing – Basic understanding of marcom’s role in CRM and a great willingness to be a part of the team as campaign management is implemented

· Promotional Communications – Proven track record of creation and distribution of successful communications vehicles, programs and creative media (CD's, Videos etc.)

· Culture Building and Branding – Must have demonstrated knowledge and ability to lead others in understanding brand guidelines, and achieve high degree of compliance with Flowserve’s brand standards and the customer-centric brand culture.

 

Additionally, the Integrated Communications Manager adds value by participating in the strategic planning process, assisting with communications to distributors and partners, supporting internal communications, guiding integration of communications materials relating to merger and acquisition activity and other communications-related assignments.

 

Qualifications & Required Competencies:

 

· Demonstrated success in all of the management and administrative requirements of this role such as managing a global budget, people and project management

· 2 or more years living or working extensively in another region, ability to speak another language a plus

· Writing competency in Business to Business communications is key.

· Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or comparable

· 5 - 7 years of experience and a strong track record in a similar job position or in several of the communications skill areas listed above

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office

· Strong teaming and leading skills – ability to be a positive, effective influence

· Ability to work effectively at all levels of the corporation including top management

· Knowledge and demonstrated use of Internet and/or other web mediums for business purpose
