Huntsman currently has a challenging position as Manager Maintenance & Construction for the Port Neches Performance Products division in Port Neches, Texas. 

 

Key Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:Provide leadership to the Port Neches Performance Products Maintenance TeamEnsure all staff associates, activities, management systems, policies & procedures comply with applicable laws and regulations and corporate policies, programs & initiatives.Level resources and work between shopsThe scheduling, planning, and cost control of maintenance turnaroundsImplement/sustaining systems for the reporting and review of maintenance and reliability planningEnsure the long term turnaround schedule is establishedProvide engineering expertise among plant; reliability, mechanical reliability and inspectionEffective contract administrationStorehouse and MRO inventory controlProvide resources for major maintenance activitiesProvide contract resources leveling among plantEstablish KPI targetsThe identification and application of maintenance best practices and standardsMember of site leadership teamAccountable for the following KPIs:Total Maintenance CostsMaintenance Labor CostMaintenance Material CostMaintenance Contractor CostsMaintenance Cost per lb. of Production

 

Educational Requirements and Work ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering preferably Mechanical EngineeringMinimum of 10 years of applicable experience in plant engineering, project engineering and maintenance management in a processing industry manufacturing environment Demonstrated commitment to compliance with regulatory and corporate regulations policies and initiativesPrevious experience providing effective leadership to a maintenance organization within a complex chemical or petroleum refining site is preferred.
