The Manager, Marketing Information Systems will be responsible for analyzing data and making recommendations in support of Sector LRP. Metrics will be compiled using business/competitive intelligence, market share, market potential and other data that will equip Senior Leadership with a more comprehensive view of the current busines situation and the factors that will impact the future situation of Ingersoll Rand. Global decisions will based on the analysis and recommendations.

Principal Responsibilities
1.Develop databases or use existing databases to support Phase Gate and other key Innovation & Global Marketing processes
2.Create and analyze metrics to better understand project status, success rate, and other data points for constant process improvement and understanding of future potential
3.Create metrics and analyze data to understand market potentials
4.Organize and collect data to understand current products and their life cycle
5.Manage Line Review Data Collection Process
6.Facilitate Long Range Planning Process
7.Manage individual responsible for gathering and analyzing business/competitive intelligence
8.Oversee daily activities of ADP participants



Ability to visualize, create and mine data from mulitiple sources and organize in a meaningful way that will allow complex decisions to be made regarding current and future products and opportunities.

Professional Requirements:

•3-5 years experience analyzing data and creating/maintaining databases to capture information
•Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
•A track record of delivering outstanding tangible results in a high performance environment.
•Travel up to 10%
