Hunter Fan Company, a leading manufacturer of home comfort products is seeking an experienced individual to manage our Consumer Service Department located in our corporate headquarters in Memphis, TN.

 

The Hunter name is synonymous with the Ceiling Fan.  In addition to these products Hunter manufactures a complete line of home comfort products that include humidifiers, air purifiers, bathroom exhaust fans, ventilation & circulating fan, thermostats, home control solutions, and outdoor living products.  Our products are found throughout the home.  Hunter products come with exceptional industry leading support and warranty.

 

We are seeking an individual with a BS degree and 5 or more years experience directing an end user service and support organization.  Candidates must have verifiable experience managing a team of managers/supervisors who are responsible for various service and support disciplines found within the overall organization.  Candidate will have successful track record of achieving results through others, working laterally across all internal departments, and managing a goals oriented service operation. 

 

Key Accountabilities

 

-  Creating and managing operating budgets in excess of $1.5M

-  All Technical Call Center metric goals and reporting

-  Service Parts transactions, fulfillment, and reporting

-  Reporting on Consumer Support transactions and product history analysis (warranty and non-warranty)

-  Performance evaluations as well as coaching and counseling for performance

-  Warranty and non-warranty service policy administration

-  Staffing and training

-  Departmental performance reporting

Key Experience Requirements

-  Experience managing managers and/or supervisors

-  Experience developing and managing operating expense budgets and capital project budgets

-  Recruiting and Personnel management experience

-  Technical background with electronic or electro-mechanical product service

-  Training and certification with customer handling skills

-  Communications – performance presentations, meetings, training, and cross-department voice of the customer representation

-  Management of returns operation

-  Experience with Microsoft Office programs

 

We operate a busy support environment and seek a management associate who will continue our long history of success.  The Manager of Consumer Services requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical or management discipline with at least 5 years experience managing a 30 person or greater service and support organization.  Hunter performs background checks, drug screening, and reference verifications.
