General Overview:As the Manager of Human Resources for the Everett, Wa manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for partnering with plant leadership to develop employee capabilities and improve operations by leading the HR team and developing and facilitating key HR initiatives. Responsibilities will include managing all aspects of HR: employee relations, salary and hourly recruitment, talent development and training, employee and organization development, employee engagement, performance management and coaching, compensation, policy administration, Affirmative Action and EEO programs, safety strategies and initiatives, worker's compensation, employee and community programs. The Manager of Human Resources is a member of the Everett Leadership Team. Key Responsibilities: 1. Actively contribute to StockPot's Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan targets. 2. Work with functional business partners/leaders as a strategic partner to develop high performing functional and business teams with a focus on organizational capability and talent. 3. Coach, influence and partner with functional leaders to increase talent, performance and engagement. 4. Facilitate performance improvement and system improvement initiatives across Everett. 5. Develop strategies and practices to increase talent, performance and engagement. 6. Strategically work with the VP of Manufacturing, Director of Human Resources, and management on talent management to identify competency, knowledge, leadership and talent gaps and to develop specific action programs and training programs to meet the organization's needs and objectives. 7. Develop the human resources Operations talent and establish high standards of performance. 8. Develop standards and build consistency in HR for processes/practices. Leverage best practices across Everett as well as Campbells. 9. Be an integral part of the NAFS human resources team and partner with the Global Campbell HR function. 10. Build organization vitality: Organization design consistent with business strategies and needs; Recruitment and development of top talent; Develop strategies and programs to create high performing teams. 11. Provide strategic support to management and supervisors on performance coaching, personnel matters and complaints to ensure consistency across the organization to maintain a positive work environment and eliminate legal liability. 12. Increase organization effectiveness and continuously identify opportunities to increase organization alignment. 13. Lead HR processes for client functions in the areas of: Talent (Recruitment, Retention, ORP), Performance management (IDP's, Objective Setting, Leadership Model), Culture and Engagement, Compensation and Benefits, Diversity, Employee Relations, Learning and Development and Organization Change. 14. With the Manager of Safety, develop and Required Qualifications/Education/Skills: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a related field and 7-10 years of experience; MBA preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Peoplesoft/HRIS experience required Preferred skills include certification as Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Leadership--ability to inspire trust, create direction, drive alignment, build organization vitality, execute with excellence, and produce extraordinary results Ability to influence and be a thought partner with senior management, line managers and functional managers; ability to build a team-orientation with staff Excellent general management and administration skills, encompassing resource planning, project management, and the ability to handle training, organization design, staffing, and resource allocation Knowledge and experience in change management, reliability, 5S, Kaizen events, Six Sigma preferred Experience in developing programs and policies at a strategic level Ability to effectively communicate and interact with people at all levels of an organization Excellent people management, communication and presentation skills.
