Manufacturing Assembly Manager

Igloo Products Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Manager for our Corporate Office in Katy, Texas.  This position will be reponsible for the leadership of the Assembly Department meeting budget and departmental goals in a safe manner, delivering requirements for efficiency, attainment, quality and scrap objectives.  The following job duties and responsibilties are essential:

--Provide guidance/direction/advice/support and decision making leadership for the department

--Supervises and coordinates the optimum utilization of equipment, materials and personnel in order to meet production schedule

--Insures quailty work and process improvement projects are within deadlines

-- Identifies and resolves assembly problems in order to deliver production efficiency, attainment and scrap control results

--Monitors equipment, methods of operation and coordinates equipment repairs in order to reduce spoilage (scrap and ensure established quantity and quality of output is met

--Controls/monitors/ MRB - scrap reporting efforts to ensure accuracy

--Assures compliance with safety rules/regulations and the maintenance of acceptable levels of housekeeping in order to contribute to the reduction of accidents and loss time

--Assures the workloads, shifts and rotates personnel; maintains attendance reports

--Hires, trains, and handles all employee relation issues

--Help implement and maintain 5S practices

--Ensures Igloo policies and procedures are enforced fairly and equally

Minimum Requirements:

--Bachelors degree

--7-10 years relevant manufacturing assembly experience and supervisor/managment experience

--Strong verbal and written communications and math skills

--Ability to meet and achieve goals with or without direct supervision
