Manufacturing Engineer-Electrical

Primary work environment is an office setting with requirement of at least 50% of time spent in a factory setting during normal production hours.• Respond to production problems by identifying and resolving test process and product performance issues. • Identify and develop improved product testing techniques, both manual and automated, in a production environment. • Champion a safe work environment by providing guidance for adherence to agency and industry regulations. • Engineering responsibilities include test process design, equipment definition, capital purchases, work cell layout, safety, ergonomics, production operator training, and providing manufacturing input as part of a product development team. • Occasional travel required.Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; electrical preferred. Must be familiar with Six Sigma and Lean concepts. Familiarity with NEC and NFPA required. Familiarity with ISO 9001:2000 required.
