Manufacturing Engineer - Industrial

Leading & growing contract machining and engineering company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in specialized CNC machining / programming, time study and process operations. This position will interface with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Sales and Quality departments, as well as external Customers.


The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing manufacturing processes required to assure on-time and cost effective delivery of new and existing products. You will utilize state of the art technology and automation whenever possible, provide shop floor support to assure on-time delivery of new and existing products, process and program new or existing products on manufacturing equipment either manually or through computer operations and will specify raw material configuration for new and existing products. The position will represent manufacturing engineering as a project core team member, select and justify manufacturing equipment for purchase and evaluate processes and programs to improve product quality, reduce cost, and improve employee safety. Also will establish standards on new and existing manufacturing operations generate and/or support validation and verification procedures and act as a liaison with Central Manufacturing Engineering on manufacturing capabilities of new products and/or new processes.


Qualified candidates will possess a minimum 3 years experience in machining, programming, and set-up trouble shooting on horizontal machining centers. Knowledge of Mori Seiki-HMC’s a plus. Must have specialized training in programming, time study or processing operations, the ability to interpret specification/drawings at detailed level and the ability to utilize either written/oral communication skills to meet departmental goals/objectives.  Knowledge of ISO quality systems and standards is a plus.Position offers excellent starting salary along with health, life, dental, vision insurance options, 401k, profit sharing, and paid holidays and vacations.
