Optivus is currently looking for an individual to join our team of professionals and assist us with our mission of saving lives through Proton Beam Therapy, using their skills and experience as a temporary Manufacturing Expeditor. Expected duration is 6 mos. to 1 year.

Job Summary:
Provides support to the Manufacturing Engineers (MFE) by performing the following duties. Tracking the progress of all Production Requests, Shop Travelers, Field Service Requests and Customer Requests throughout the production cycle. Reports major process flow and shortages problems to the responsible Manufacturing Engineer for corrective action and participates in the problem solving process. Implement corrective action plans and ensure process flow and shortage problems are resolved.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 1-2 years related experience and/or training preferred.Basic mechanical and electrical assembly skills are preferred
Basic understanding of fabricated and purchased mechanical and electrical components  
Ability to read drawings and interpret BOM structures should be a qualification.Excellent organizational skills.Strong people skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).Ability to keep track of multiple concurrent projects and tasks.Ability to work independently.Ability to perform general office work, including: sitting in front of a computer screen, filing, photocopying, sitting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.Ability to bend and carry as needed.
