Manufacturing/Production/Operations Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Contact Information Reference Code: 1925 Job Description Manufacturing Floor Supervisor Position Purpose: This position is responsible for the timely production of quality products on a particular shift.  This position performs supervisory activities in leading and directing the hourly work force in achieving our defined objectives for Safety, Delivery, Quality, Lean, 5S, Productivity and Inventory Management.    Duties: Guides and trains employees, organizes work, obtains materials and supplies, meets production requirements, improves quality results and limits equipment down time.  Motivates employees by setting clear expectations and work direction.  Other duties may also be required based on operational needs.  Qualifications: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to communicate effectively Ability to understand & communicate company priorities Good interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with sound decision-making ability to resolve problems Leadership ability to ensure effective teamwork Experience in supporting Quality, Process Improvement, Safety, Inventory Control, LEAN and 5S initiatives Ability & willingness to adapt to & help drive change Ability to work any shift plus weekends/holidays as needed   Education Or Degree Required: 4 yr degree in business or engineering preferred   Related Work Experience Required: 3 –5 years in a production, multi-shift manufacturing operation Pentair is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
