Location: IA 50677 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Expected Duration: 2+ to 5 Years Reference Code: CDR00041 Job Description:Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer is responsible for manufacturing process documentation (working instructions), specifically to document tooling and equipment.  Will also be responsible for process time studies and documenting the process. Also responsible for supply chain management.  Required Skills:Requires minimum of 3-5 years Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering experience.  Must have excellent problem solving skills within a manufacturing environment.  Seeking experience with manufacturing process documentation (working instructions), and is able to document tooling and equipment.  Requires experience with process time studies and ability to document the process.    BS Degree in Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or related field preferred. Any process improvement, process engineering, process documentation and/or supply chain management experience is preferred. Experience in Toyota Production System, Kaizen and Kanban is preferred Ability to work with multiple projects and teams in a continuously changing environment. Ability to work closely with a diverse group of people in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to implement engineering solutions to quality issues in a Lean Manufacturing (TPS) environment. Demonstrated understanding and practical use of JIT, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques. Demonstrated understanding of optimizing people, material and information flow in a manufacturing environment. Proficient with computers, including MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and CAD/CAM software. Excellent problem solving skills and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to teach others. Must be flexible to work overtime, different shifts, on short notice / as production requires.
