Manufacturing Project Engineer

Due to company expansion and new production lines moving into the facility, an opportunity is available for a Manufacturing Engineer to start up metal machining operations.  Responsibilities for this position include equipment and tooling design and working with equipment vendors on developing equipment according to specifications, setting the new equipment and production lines up, line layouts, first piece runoffs, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the project.  This Manufacturing Engineer also will lead product launch projects, lead process improvements, and cost saving initiatives, and develop work standardization.

 

Requirements include someone with extensive experience working in a metal working / machining environment, project management skills and experience, and experience choosing and setting up new capital equipment.  Other requirements include someone who is a self-starter, high energy, and has the desire to advance in his/her career with this growing company.  A Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering is also a requirement.
