Manufacturing Sales Associate

We are currently seeking an Outside/ Inside Sales Associate to join our Sales Group. This person will be responsible for working directly with clients and sales representatives to define customer’s needs, influence bid documents, and resolve customer material handling problems.

 

 

Functions & ResponsibilitiesUndergo intense training program.Manage customer accounts and developing new customers and contacts within the industry.Qualify leads and develop sales opportunities and key accounts.Develop “target” project sales plan and keep current.Develop customer relationships and implement marketing plans.Achieve annual budgeted sales bookings and gross margins on a quarterly basis.Generate project and service agreement estimates & proposals.Assess customer needs.Service customers via telephone and on-site.Manage products and supplier relationships.Build proposals and conducting sales presentations and negotiations.Evaluate industry trends and new technology.

 

Job SpecificationsMotivated, goal oriented, self-starter with focus on learning and success.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent follow-up.Travel 50%.Work out of Baltimore office when not traveling.

 

Experience & EducationAAS, BS, MS in Mechanical and/or Industrial Engineering preferred.1-3 years sales experience. Manufacturing/ Technical sales preferred.Previous experience in design, manufacturing, mechanical systems, pneumatic and electrical systems very beneficial.Ability to effectively read and understand Auto CAD drawings.
