Job Status: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Relevant Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Education: Bachelor's Degree Job Category: Engineering Contact Information Company: CORESTAFF Services Email: Apply by Email Reference Code: Test Job Description Manufacturing Test Engineer Manufacturing Test Engineer Position Description: Intermediate to Senior Level manufacturing test engineer capable of developing automated production test equipment, automated test programs, and processes for new products and releases to be deployed to external contract manufacturing sites. Responsibilities/Expectations: ·  Work independently in the development of production test equipment, test  programs, and/or processes for thermal cooling assemblies that employ moving diaphragm components and microcontroller based electronics ·  Participate in Product Development Reviews and rive the implementation of manufacturing test methodologies and guidelines ·  Define and develop test hardware and software; validate performance, and confirm Gage R&R.  Create specifications, User Manuals, and maintenance documents ·  Manage 3rd Party Suppliers and contractors as necessary to meet requirements ·  Travel (international) to Suppliers factories to deploy automated test equipment ·  Train external contract manufacturer technical personnel in the use and support of production test equipment, test programs, and/or processes ·  Identify and implement plans aimed at improving product test process performance.  Upgrade tester hardware and software as required Qualifications/Skills: ·  BSEE or higher degree with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing test ·  3+ years developing manufacturing test automation using TestStand and LabVIEW ·  Broad knowledge and understanding of the operation and testing of electro-mechanical devices ·  Demonstrated experience managing test activities at contract manufacturing or remote manufacturing sites ·  Experience with measurement and testing of audio characteristics is desirable.    CareersDiscover the freedom, the flexibility and opportunity available through temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire assignments at CORESTAFF.
