Market Development Manager (Life Science/Medical Markets)

We are seeking a Market Development Manager who will assist in the development and implementation of marketing programs for the Medical Business Unit. The position will help lead the development, growth and understanding of target market segment. 

 

Specific responsibilities will include:Assists in the development and implementation of business plansAnalyzes and defines market growthPerforms competitive analysisDetermines market research needs and new product development initiativesHelps with identification of new products and coordination of new product line development activitiesAssists in development of strategic marketing plans and marketing communication materialsPrepares and analyzes reportsResearches and recommends database listsAssists in the set up and maintenance of market information filesGathers data and examines information related to pricing, product performance and market sharePrepares and presents presentations for a variety of audiencesActs as a source of information for sales and distribution (standard and custom future products, pricing, technical questions)

 

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

·         Bachelors degree in Business or Engineering, MBA or equivalent experience desired;

·         Three or more years of progressive marketing management and/or product management experience with a manufacturing company selling through distribution both domestically and internationally;

·         Experience developing and introducing new products;

·         Project management skills.
