We are currently seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Marketing Communications Specialist Residential Flooring. This position will be based in our Kennesaw office.Overview:We are currently seeking an experienced candidate to help in the development, execution and optimization of national and local advertising, direct marketing, marketing support materials, retail point of sale, internet marketing, website, and trade events for the STAINMASTER flooring brand. Specifically, the Marketing Communications Specialist will report to the Director, Consumer Marketing and create value for the business by: Managing the development and implementation of marketing communications programs to support growth of the STAINMASTER brand; Analyzing effectiveness of communications and proposing recommendations for improvement; and Reducing the cost of outside resources to manage this work. The Marketing Communications Specialist will work with internal marketing management, external advertising and public relations agencies, internal creative team and field marketing employees to ensure integration and effective execution of brand marketing communications. Position requires strong analytical and communications skills, and the ability to both manage and work with teams and agencies within/outside the organization.Primary Responsibilities: Participate in STAINMASTER master brand strategic development and creative reviews to gain knowledge, add value and ensure consistency of strategy among different audiences in the residential flooring value chain. Provide clear communications direction to appropriate agencies or internal creative resources; ensure integration of brand essence; oversee creative development, gain proper internal approvals, monitor costs and quality, set metrics, share with team and partners, meet deadlines. Ensure advertising and marketing materials are in compliance with all applicable talent, usage and marketing claim laws. Establish processes, documentation and monitoring of contracts and claim support to ensure legal compliance. Oversee placement and monitoring of all national advertising to include documentation, administration, and procurement processing. Coordinate with agencies and media (and outside buying groups with national media coop programs when applicable) to ensure advertising materials are trafficked correctly and all parties have relevant information as needed. Provide support for dealer and field requests for advertising, promotion and marketing materials; take lead role in communicating to dealers and field regarding advertising and promotional programs. Maintain website content/assist in development of new web strategies, coordinate promotional and online materials for posting on web and StainmasterLink. Analyze metrics of plan and materials, providing upgrade and revision recommendations where appropriate. Assist with management of budget; processing of POs and spend. Provide support for monitoring and reporting of licensee (DuPont specific) compliance data and trademark usage. Keep up-to-date with key competitive in-kind industry positions to ensure proposed MC programs provide a continued differentiating leadership position for STAINMASTER. This role involves approximately 20% travel, both day and overnight, by personal car and air, including dealer visits, tradeshows, photography and TV shoots, other vendor meetings, other market events and corporate meetings. Requirements: 2-4 years in related field, industry or function. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and re-prioritize Proven, strong analytical skills and experience with database/program effectiveness analysis. Ability to travel at least 20%, including day & overnight. Advertising, collateral, direct marketing and/or online marketing and website experience - a plus. Retail merchandising knowledge - a plus Strong computer skills required including but not limited to Word, Excel and Power Point. Photoshop, Illustrator and other design programs - a plus.
