This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and aligning volume and revenue forecasts for assigned businesses and or channels ensuring a Regions sales forecasts are visible, planned and supported through the Supply Chain delivering customer satisfaction and improving inventory and working capital year over year. This position will interface with the Demand Planners from Production, Finance, and is the spokes position for the Sales in the Supply Chain?fs Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning Process (SIOP). This position is the linkage between sales forecasting and marketing programs and manufacturing bringing closer alignment to the SIOP Process.
? Creation of baseline demand plan within the Americas Region converting sales $ plans to unit production requirements and benchmarking against demand plan.
? Provide pro-active professional gap analysis of demand, financial, supply plans.
? Coordination of baseline plan with marketing teams for modification basis promotion, event and customer planning activities
? Validation and alignment of baseline forecasts to meet the Regions Sales goals with regional sales leaders.
? Adjustment of baseline forecasts to include demand forecast exceptions provided by sales team
? Lead participation in partnership meetings for the products and sales channels represented on behalf of regional sales & marketing team(s).
? Provide root cause analysis and corrective actions to continually improve demand plan quality.
? Provide relentless, professional 3-step feedback loop on monthly basis (demand plan vs. incoming order rates vs. plant shipments.)
? Lead corrective action on behalf of regional SIOP team for demand plan accuracy, sales forecast accuracy, and/or supply plan accuracy
? Partner with SIOP process team and plant planners to facilitate maximum customer satisfaction, stakeholder satisfaction and financial performance.
? Provide high quality executive summary of performance, opportunities, challenges and gaps.

APICS Certification in Forecasting and or SIOP Strongly Preferred
Minimum Years of Experience Necessary:
7-10 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Cost Accounting, and Demand Planning required
Information Systems Experience Necessary:
Experience in Oracle Demand Planning a plus
Proven experience as Expert in Excel and Access essential to success
