Position Overview:Be part of a company that has a long-standing leadership position in serving the demanding applications of the energy sector.
Excel as the Marketing Director Global Process Ceramics with this newly formed Oil and Gas group that will identify worldwide business application synergies for the oil and gas industry.
Work with a company consisting of different global organizations that will identify products, services and technologies so they can become available to improve downstream oil and gas activities.
Marketing Director Global Process Ceramics Duties:Report directly to the General Manager Global Process Ceramics
Your objective will be to manage the overall worldwide sales and marketing activities, including formulation of strategy and implementation of marketing programs and sales plans to achieve business goals and objectives all along the global hydrocarbon value chain, to include petroleum refining and petrochemical processing.
Direct a global staff of 15 Marketing and Sales related people.
Establish and implement global sales and marketing strategy (product pricing, placement and promotion) consistent with business plans, forecasts, and goals.
Manage global (China, Russia, Europe, Japan, Dubai, South America, Australia) distribution channels (agents, distributors, internal sales personnel) and supply strategy, including negotiating global contracts, establishing pricing, commercial policies and sales tactics to achieve sales volume, growth and profitability targets.
Directly manage, expand and cultivate strategic relationships with key and target customers, establish and maintain contacts at the decision making levels.
Coordinate associated secrecy and development agreement.
Develop and strengthen profitable relationships while maximizing long-term product line profitability.
Grow business through increased customer base and specialized product offerings.
Coordinate new product and application opportunities across the global organization.
Define new product development and associated resource requirements, champion with R&D, manufacturing, purchasing, and management.
Direct development, market introduction and penetration of new products in order to maximize sales and profitability.
Manage sales and market forecasting (5 Year Business Plan, Budgets) and reporting processes, identify long term technology and market trends, analyze market and competitive intelligence.
Formulate and implement process ceramic strategies which ensure achievement of both short term and long term business goals.
Directly manage activities in Chemical product line, expand and cultivate strategic relationships with key and target customers.
Develop and strengthen profitable relationships while maximizing long-term product line profitability.
Grow process ceramics business through increased customer base and specialized product offerings.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Must have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline from a four-year college or university.
Masters of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline from a four-year college or university is preferred.
Masters of Business Administration from a four-year college or university is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years sales and marketing experience in the chemical, petroleum refinery, petrochemical, oil and gas processing industries with 5 years global experience.
Minimum of 5 years global experience in the hydrocarbon industry in a sales or marketing role anywhere along the hydrocarbon value chain, to include petroleum refining and petrochemical processing.
Minimum of 5 years global experience in a sales or marketing role with hands-on knowledge of heat and/or mass transfer processes and applications.
Minimum of 5 years global experience in a sales or strategic marketing role for engineering services and consulting at a oil or gas plant, engineering and construction firm (E&C) or a catalyst company.
Minimum of 5 years experience and aptitude in managing a sales and marketing organization and leading cross functional teams.
Ability to operate simultaneously in multiple business cultures as well as fluency in English a must.
Ability to travel up to 40% on a International basis.
Proficient PC skills including business software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
