MARKETING MANAGER

 

We are a leading manufacturer of entrance security and pedestrian control products seeking a marketing manager to do the following:

 

Responsibilities

 

1.  Manage company’s marketing activities, which include:

· Market plan development

· Corporate marketing/communication

§Corporate website

§Ancillary web sites

§Trade shows

§PR

§Manuals, specifications and literature

§Proactive customer communication tools

· Search engine optimization

· Market research

§Market/customer and competitive trends

§Sales lead research

§Data analysis

§Market intelligence development

§Lead distribution

· Vertical segment marketing

§Marketing initiatives geared towards specific  customer verticals/segments

  2.  Leading a small marketing team.

 

3.  Finding and managing outside contractors.

 

4.  Working with company’s senior management team and other internal stakeholders to execute the company’s strategic initiatives.

 

Requirements

 

1.  Entrepreneurial. Must be able and willing to use personal initiatives to improve Alvarado’s marketing function at both the strategy and execution level.

 

2.  Results-Oriented.  Must have a proven record of delivering results. Requires personal accountability and requires accountability from others. Must be able to independently define projects, delineate responsibilities and produce results in a fast changing environment. 

 

3.  Ability to Understand Technical Products.  Must have the ability to truly understand a broad range of products, some quite technical, and to communicate the benefits of these products to distinct market segments.

 

4.  Proven Management Abilities. Must have a proven track record of successfully managing projects and staff.

 

5.  Willing to Lead Cross-Functionally. Must possess strong communication and leadership skills.  Must be able to effectively lead cross-functional projects requiring close collaboration with other departments.

 

Qualifications 6+ years of significant marketing experience with a technical product line Four year degree, preferably in a technical field Established track record of performance Excellent command of the English language Strong computer and database skills Familiarity with CRM systems Proven track record utilizing creative marketing techniques
