A focus on profitable recurring revenue within Ingersoll Rand is outlined by our management in our Dramatic Growth initiatives. As we reduce our investments in cyclical and low growth businesses, recurring revenue becomes a more important target to our organization. The recurring revenue model focuses on staying in touch with the customer over the entire life cycle of the product they have purchased from Ingersoll Rand or one of our competitors. It is important that we understand the value proposition that we must communicate to our customers to partner with them and reduce their total cost of ownership. The candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, roll-out and execution of these strategies.

As we have rolled out our newest recurring revenue product with PackageCare, additional supporting processes will be required. New comprehensive marketing plans to include adjacent space products and services will need to be developed and executed.

This position will be critical to the success of the business to fully engage all of our sales channels to support this recurring revenue model. The incumbent will be expected to travel approximately 30% of the time in order to meet with customers, channel partners and operational support members to drive unit, revenue and profitability goals.

Four (4) year technical or marketing degree required.
Minimum five (5) years experience in sales or marketing field required.
Must have exceptional PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Ability to communicate and interact with all levels in the organization
Proven interpersonal, decision making and leadership skills
Demonstrates initiative and motivation
Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects while demonstrating high energy and creativity.

Principle Duties:
1. Develop solutions to drive service based revenue
2. Measure and identify appropriate markets
3. Develop business cases for engineering NPD
4. Develop marketing material as appropriate for all channels and regions
5. Be the expert on the market
6. Know the competition (growth, technicians, weaknesses, strengths)
7. Remove hurdles that prevent sales
8. Own the overall pricing of the recurring revenue products. (A full understanding of how to drive contracts, reduce vendor costs, identify Ingersoll Rand needs)
9. Share wins and best practices to accelerate market penetration with innovative solutions
10. Communicate solutions through all of the Channels
11. Understand channel issues, resolve and communicate
12. Develop training and educate field on how to grow services revenue through contracts and our PackageCare offering
