Marketing Specialist

Franklin Electric, a manufacturer and distributor of innovative pumps and water movement components, continues to out pace the water movement market with our progressive and innovative products.  We are currently seeking a talented Marketing Specialist for our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma facility. 

 

The Marketing Specialist will coordinate and assist in business activities by working closely with Sales, Customer Service, Engineering and Marketing.  The qualified candidate will identify opportunities for continuous improvements by building knowledge about the marketplace and product. 

 

Responsibilities:Instrumental in initial creative concepts for packaging and literature for industry/market needs and in accordance with packaging standards defined by Marketing Manager.Manage time lines of artwork development with inside or outside creative team.Compiles information needed for creation/revision of packaging and literature.Provides accurate & consistent data to inside or outside creative team as a request for development.Proofs entire package and literature layout as provided by inside or outside creative team (includes routing to appropriate personnel for review).Manages all national commercial tradeshow/event coordination (all elements) and corporate events as requested by management.Coordinates internal meetings and training seminars as specified by VP Marketing, VP Sales,  Marketing Manager, Product Manager, and/or Training Manager.Assists Marketing Manager in developing and executing launch kits to sales force on new products along with executing press and public relations plans.  Develop action plan for “special projects.”Attend/assist at customer outings, product knowledge training meetings and trade shows.Coordinates time lines with Product Development and/or Engineering for needed technical information.

Requirements:Possess excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines. Excellent “people skills” required. Detail oriented to carry out written and oral instructions.Must be proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Office.  Experience with Oracle helpful.3 or more years experience preferred.College Degree preferred.
