Marketing and Sales Support Associate

A leading international manufacturer of genuine leather and bonded (recycled) leather sold worldwide to manufacturers of leather goods, graphic arts and furnishing products is looking for the right person to join our marketing and sales team in our headquarters in Mamaroneck, NY.  This key position will be involved in supporting our Customers and our Sales Vice President, interfacing with our manufacturing operations regarding production scheduling and inventory management, and providing assistance to potential customers through information, marketing materials and samples.

 

Responsibilities include:

·        Customer support, including handling orders and inquiries, providing information and samples, trouble shooting usage or quality concerns, and solving scheduling problems

 

·        Sales support to our external sales staff

 

·        Ensuring that customer orders are processed quickly and accurately, and that operations are aware of any unique customer requirements

 

·        Interfacing with operations regarding production and shipping scheduling

 

·        Managing inventories of key finished items and raw materials

 

·        Assisting in developing, maintaining and distributing marketing materials and samples

 

·        Maintaining reports and analytics of sales, marketing and key production metrics

 

 

Qualifications of the ideal candidate:

·        Highest professionalism including diligence, attention to detail and accuracy, strong work ethic, team work, “can do” attitude, and sense of responsibility

 

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills

 

·        Excellent computer proficiency and skilled in MS Office products

 

·        Bachelor’s Degree

 

·        1+ years relevant work experience desirable
