Master Scheduler

As the Master Scheduler in the Gas Turbine Systems business unit, your responsibilities will include: Develop and manage the forecasting system translating sales data to plant operational data. Develop and revise standard operational scheduling functions for Subcontractors. Support the budgeting process through forecasting and analysis. Responsible for the Customer Integrated Planning system and resource requirements against available capacity. Develop and communicate support of delivery and inventory. Determine when an audit of a subcontractor proposal is necessary and leads the execution of such.  Develop and monitor the small business subcontract plan as may be required under the contract.  Monitor subcontractors for adverse cost, performance, and/or schedule issues. Review all contract modifications and proposals for completeness, compliance and accuracy.  Advise and guide Logistics department regarding export and control of contract requirements and ensure senior management kept fully aware of company’s compliance. Assure accurate and timely communication with internal and external customers. Participate in the coordination and release of new products. Represent Donaldson Company by communicating and working with customers to resolve delivery issues and other production planning issues. Facilitate cross-functional decision-making teams. Support and work with Contract Managers and Manufacturing Manager to determine capcity constraints and communicate them to the rest of the team.  Required Qualifications Bachelors’ degree in business administration or equivalent, with five plus years of applicable experience in Master Scheduling.   Experience in a production planning role that involved the the use of an MRP system Proficiency in scheduling, planning and forecasting Strong analytical abilitiesPreferred Qualifications APICS and CPIM Certification are preferred.
