Material Control Coordinator

SPACESAVER CORPORATION (a division of KI) the leading manufacturer of information and material storage systems, located in Fort Atkinson, WI, has an opening for a Material Control Coordinator.  Under the direction of the Director of Materials, analyzes and verifies inventory audit counts for established cycle count parameters and unscheduled requests using computerized and manual inventory files.  Responsible for implementation, coordination, and direct performance of related duties involving, but not limited to identifying and implementing corrective actions, record keeping/report generation and related statistical records/reports responsibilities.

 

The qualified candidate will have at least 2 years of previous experience with cycle counting/auditing mfg processes with strong problem solving/investigation skills, an ability to establish structured daily/weekly routines for counting, reconciling & problem solving.  Additional requirements include pc proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.), excellent communication skills at all levels within the organization, basic math skills (addition, subtraction, and multiplication with conversion factors), be a self-starter, and the ability to use a pallet jack or fork truck.
