This position is located in Newport, Delaware. Relocation is NOT authorized. This is a first shift opportunity (6:30-3).

Performs all material coordination activities to support the production of silica based packing material for LC Columns. This includes (but is not limited to): creates batch sheets for production runs, creates & manages process orders for all process areas, performs cycle counts and reconciles discrepancies, coordinates the cycle count process for the Newport site, partners extensively with manufacturing engineers on current & future products, submits order information for non-inventory indirect materials, provides back-up coverage for other site material coordinators.

Follows all documented procedures and safety and environmental guidelines, and performs daily housekeeping duties.

Performs other functions as requested by supervision.

Mandatory overtime required at times. About you 

Requires higher education or specialized training/certification (or equivalent).
Requires a minimum of 7 years directly related experience, with typically 9 to 15 years' experience.

- Demonstrated ability to read and understand written procedures and instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide, ratios, weights & measures).
- Demonstrated ability to make timely decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records.
- Experience working with computers, including demonstrated strong ability to use MS Excel & SAP
- Demonstrated ability to investigate inventory discrepancies to root cause, and make appropriate corrections in SAP
- Required to bend, stoop, and reach.
- Required to remain standing for extended periods of time.
- No known allergies to chemicals used in the work area.
- Required to lift materials per entity specified and approved limits.
- May be required to participate in medical/screening or monitoring programs.

Desired:
- Previous experience using SAP in a material coordination capacity for both repetitive manufacturing & process manufacturing.
- Previous manufacturing experience in an ISO certified environment.
