Job Molding Material Handler

 

Specific Duties:

 

1.  Responsible for mixing base material, colorant, and regrind using the material blender. 

 

2.  Responsible for preparing material for assigned shift and / or other shifts in accordance with the production schedule and supervisor.

 

3.  Responsible for staging of material in dryers.

 

4.  Responsible for ensuring desired temperature setting on all material placed in dryers.

 

5.  Responsible for raw material delivery to machines using portable white bins, Gaylord’s, bags, or other containers.

 

6.  Responsible for removing raw material from machines. 

 

7.  Responsible to transport parts from the manufacturing area to the next stage of process or finished goods location as applicable.

 

8.  Responsible for delivering returnable containers to the machine areas.

 

9.  Responsible to retrieve pallets of containers from storage and breaking down pallets and loading containers onto casterboards. 

 

10.  Responsibilities include assisting with cleaning granulators, cleaning machines and areas around machine. 

 

11.  Follows all safety requirements when operating forklifts, other material moving devices.

 

12. Miscellaneous other duties as necessary.

 Requirements & Qualifications

·  High School diploma or GED preferred

·  Good math skills

·  Must be able to lift and move 60 lbs./27 kgs.

·  Forklift and pallet jack experience is preferred
