Material Planner

Agusta Aerospace Corporation (AAC), a division of Agusta Westland, the worlds leading international aerospace and helicopter manufacturer is searching for a Material Planner. We are strategically located next to the Northeast Philadelphia airport in northeast section of Philadelphia and immediately outside of lower Bucks County, PA.

 

On Tuesday, February 19, 2008 we celebrated a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by dignitaries, parent company executives and employees to commemorate the opening of our state of art AW139 manufacturing facility. In addition to the AW139 assembly, AAC is also responsible for A119 Ke production and supporting the expanding fleet of AgustaWestland helicopters in North and South America. This plant is also provides flight and ground course training activities.

Summary of Position:

 

Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager performs the following duties and responsibilities:

·  Document overall material need, including all codes, brands, and contact information necessary to process orders 

·  Work with Bill of Materials (BOM) 

·  Adjusts amounts for existing inventory and for orders of conventional sizes 

 

A. Education: BA/BS in Business, Finance or related

 

B. Experience:  2 years in a similar position in a related area.

 

C. Competencies & AttributesUnderstand engineering documents and work closely with members of the engineering teamHas knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field from high-tech manufacturing industryStrong written and oral communication skillsAdditional related and/or experience in aerospace is highly desirable.Well organized and adaptable with a flexible approachAble to work in a dynamic growing environment
