Material Supply Management Representative

Agusta Aerospace Corporation (AAC), a division of Agusta Westland, the worlds leading international aerospace and helicopter manufacturer is searching for a Material Supply Management Representative. We are strategically located next to the Northeast Philadelphia airport in northeast section of Philadelphia and immediately outside of lower Bucks County, PA.

 

On Tuesday, February 19, 2008 we celebrated a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by dignitaries, parent company executives and employees to commemorate the opening of our state of art AW139 manufacturing facility. In addition to the AW139 assembly, AAC is also responsible for A119 Ke production and supporting the expanding fleet of AgustaWestland helicopters in North and South America. This plant is also provides flight and ground course training activities.

Summary of Position:

 

Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager performs the following duties and responsibilities:Ensure the effective management of suppliers through proper Material Supply Management practices (order acknowledge, manage order book, supplier visits, expediting, etc.)Monitor supplier performances verifying relevant KPI and when needed involving the appropriate functions for setting recovery actionsAct as the main point of contact for order book issues and uses this focus to provide improved supplier performanceProvide detail feedback to internal customers (MP&C) on Supply Chain performanceDeal directly with vendors to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods to appropriate locationsFacilitate and expedites the flow of materials to and from suppliers  Obtain any missing documentations, resolve issues between supplier and company  Handle any delivery inconsistencies or delays

 

A. Education: HS diploma or equivalent

 

B. Experience:  2 years in a similar position in a related area.

 

C. Competencies & Attributes:Ability to understand proper Material Supply Management practices (order acknowledge, manage order book, supplier visits, expediting, etc.)Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field from high-tech manufacturing industryStrong written and oral communication skillsUnderstand engineering documents and work closely with members of the engineering teamHas knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field from high-tech manufacturing industryStrong written and oral communication skills
