Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Materials Analyst to review customer forecast, coordinate and schedule shipments to customer, and maintain monthly inventories. 

 

Principle Job Responsibilities:Create bills of lading for each shipment and transmit bills of lading via ASN’s as required.  Troubleshoot and resolve issues with ASN transmissions, customer returns, vendor returns, and supplier receipts using MRP software. Create ,distribute, control, and maintain all visual aids, alerts, training records, documents and procedures that relate to material functions in compliance with company policies and TS 16949. Assist in establishing a 5S culture of organization that emphasizes Behavioral Based Safety and efficiency, and assist in training associates at the plant floor level. Complete physical inventory when necessary and resolve inventory discrepancies. Coordinate trucks for shipment and provide customer service as needed. Become the expert in the creation of requisitions, purchasing, and receipt of all non-durable goods required for daily operation.  Establish a system of ordering to assure all necessary items are available, while staying within budget. Run "past due" reports and work to resolve all outstanding issues to assure timely payment to vendors.  Act as the primary liaison between Tonawanda and corporate purchasing as a means to resolving such issues. Make sure all vendor accounts are setup properly in order to streamline ordering process and to make sure that goods are ordered and received in compliance to established guidelines. Complies with all job-related internal control duties as described in the Noble Key Control set and the realted controls as maintained on the company's document management system.

Required Skills:High school diploma or GED.

Competencies/skills/training include:

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook), TS16949/ISO 14001, CMS or MRP-type software.
