Mechanical Maintenance Manager

24 hour industrial manufacturing and converting facility located near Paterson, NJ is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Manager.  Duties and responsibilities include:

 

· Assure facility compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local codes and regulations

· Promote a safe work environment and act promptly to deal with safety issues and concerns.

· Reduce material inventory and stock requirements by standardizing where possible, centralizing storage of redundant high cost parts and materials, and defining critical parts needed at remote sites.

· Implement a staff development training program to assist employees in developing skills required to meet Company needs.

o  Identify mechanical equipment Failure Mode and Effects Analysis

o  Create a preventative maintenance plan to deal with those issues

· Assist in the scheduling process

· CMMS

o  Assist in Implementing, developing and maintaining the CMMS

o  Assist in training craftsmen

· Communicate and implement company practices relating to personnel policy, quality assurance and safety regulations.

· Manage the overall operation and crews in order to maximize production and efficiency by effective use of resources.
