Scope of Position:

The successful candidate provides support and continual improvement direction for the Bottom of Draw process area at the Harrodsburg LCD facility. This role is a supporting role for a 24x7 manufacturing operations.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

- Operational support for a 24x7 manufacturing facility.

- Responsible for line performance in the Bottom of the Draw process area. This includes various equipment stations and the process at each station.

- Responsible for writing, running and support of various experimental plans on the production lines.

- Responsible for equipment setup, SOS and Base Case determinations.

- Projects are selected from the focus of continual improvement balanced with operational efficiency gains.

- Some projects are in conjunction with S&T development.

- Weekend Team Duty.

 

Required to sign a Covenant Not to Compete

 

Required Education: AAS

 

Required Years and Area of Experience: 1 year manufacturing

 

Required Skills:

- Problem Solving Skills

- Troubleshooting skills with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls.

- Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)

- Computer Skills - Use of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access DB

- Team Player
