Medical Sales Representative

Established Medical Manufacturer is seeking a Medical Sales Representative with strong sales and preferably medical background.  Individual must be able to build strong customer relationships, conduct consultative sales calls, utilize solid product/clinical knowledge, follow a targeted call plan, and develop a solid territory plan.

 

PRIMARY ACTIVITIES

 

* Conduct consultative sales calls on physicians, surgeons, hospitals and clinics.

* Conduct consultative and educational sales calls on durable medical equipment dealers and boutiques.

* Build solid customer relationships.

* Demonstrate outstanding product knowledge.

* Implement routing/targeted call plan.

* Complete administrative requirements on time and accurately.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

* Chicago based - territory requires 50% overnight travel within Illinois, Indiana and SE Wisconsin.

* Minimum 3 to 5 years of successful selling experience preferably in a medical/pharma or technological field in a consultative role.

* Demonstrated aptitude and success in fostering value-based physician relationships.

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with customers and health care providers.
