Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst

Manufacturing company with multiple sites in the US, seeks a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst for its corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Wa.

This position is primarily responsible for acquisition target analysis, including detailed evaluations of financial, market and strategic elements, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and divestitures.  Also, supports the development of the business enterprise strategic plan.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:Provide detailed financial valuations and assessments of targeted companies. Gather market data and prepare strategic implication presentations. Support strategic planning and new business development processes as required. Coordinate activities with business groups and corporate business development people & functions. Analyze M&A opportunities: participate in due diligence activities and acquisition candidates. Conduct strategic industry analysis in conjunction with marketing, incorporating product portfolio and growth opportunities. Identifies new and emerging business growth opportunities in technology and new market spaces.

Education/Experience:BS (Engineering, Finance or Accounting); MBA preferred Minimum 2 years in 'related' corporate position/function Merger & acquisition experience ... in organization of at least $400M in sales Strong team player ... ability to work and lead cross-functional teams Strong multi-tasking and organization & planning skills Strong project management skills and communications skills (written, verbal, presentation skills) Strong strategic plan development or marketing strategy development experience
