  METAL ACCOUNTANT

 SUMMARY OF POSITION

 A multi-national advanced materials technology company located in the West Chester, PA area seeks a Metal Accountant.



 



 

 

This position is primarily responsible for the precious metal accounting for Noble Metals, NA.  This includes processing of daily precious metals transactions, metal account reconciliation and analysis, cash forecasting, month-end close for precious metals and monthly Group reporting (M – 1).  This individual will also perform monthly metal forecasting and prepare the annual precious metal budget.  The individual in this position will assist the Assistant Controller in product line profitability, budgeting and other special projects as well as being involved in many aspects of our business interfacing regularly with sales and operations personnel.

 TRAINING, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:

 This position requires a BS in Accounting with 1-2 years experience. The candidate must possess excellent organizational and communication skills along with strong PC skills specifically in Microsoft EXCEL; working knowledge of JD Edwards system a plus.
